Linux 4.6 Released

Linux 4.6 was released this past weekend, and it was a relatively quiet release with only one significant change to the audit subsystem. The SELinux and audit release notes are below.

SELinux

• Small build fix to ensure that the SELinux include directories are referenced properly.

Audit

• Prevent a new audit daemon from replacing an existing, working daemon and generate an AUDIT_CONFIG_CHANGE record in the case of a failed event.
